How a search works
- Brief. We meet you, and the principal where it matters, to agree the role, pay and culture.
- Shortlist. Three to five vetted candidates with notes on experience, references and fit.
- Interviews. We schedule, prepare both sides and keep the search confidential.
- Offer and start. We help close the offer and stay in touch through the first 90 days.
What we screen for
- Technical depth: multi-entity accounting, partnership tax, private fund reporting.
- Discretion: how candidates have handled sensitive personal information.
- Range: willingness to work outside a job description in a lean office.
- References, including one from a former principal or partner.
Where we search

Questions about working with us
What is a family office headhunter?
A recruiter who runs confidential searches for family offices, usually for senior roles. We cover senior and staff roles.
What's the difference between retained and contingent search?
Retained search is paid partly up front for an exclusive, senior search. Contingent placement is paid only when the hire starts.
Do you offer family office staffing for short-term needs?
Yes. We place interim accountants for tax season, month-end close and gaps, billed hourly.
How do you keep searches confidential?
Client names are shared only with candidates who have signed a confidentiality agreement, and never published.
What if the hire doesn't work out?
If a permanent hire leaves within the guarantee period, we run the search again at no extra fee.
